A little bit of history

 

The History of Rossow Cosmetiques USA finds its roots back in the mid 50s when both Mr Baird Senior founder of Polyester Corporation and Mr Rossow senior founder of Ets B. Rossow et Cie, a French family owned Company established in 1955, happened to both introduce into their respective markets the Norwegian Squalane manufactured by GC Martens and later Parleam / Polysynlane from NOF Corporation.

During all the following years both Companies went their own ways keeping friendly contacts when necessary.

In the recent years Ets B. Rossow et Cie, specialized in the Distribution of specialty products for the Industry, have to diversify their activities and actively respond to the trend for the business to become increasingly global.

As a consequence and after looking for various possibilities, both sons of the founders or their respective companies, Mr Jean Rossow, President of the family Group decided to join forces with Mr William Baird having over 25 years of experience for servicing the Industry.

Rossow Cosmetiques-USA was brought to life by the end of 2004 and started to promote the same ingredients as Rossow Cosmetiques- Europe do in Europe.

Find Producers of valuable specialty chemicals likely to produce key ingredients for the industries we serve

On regular bases, visit such Companies in order to both evaluate their abilities to meet the necessary standard of quality, traceability, reliability, flexibility and appropriate commercial attitudes and commitment toward the customers and exchange on opportunities for new products.

Prepare the regulatory, technical and commercial files

Introduce the products to the customer base and follow the progress providing assistance when appropriate.

Create the necessary flow for communication between the producers and customers

Secure prompt, timely and competitive deliveries in original sealed packaging.

Listen carefully to customers’ requirements and suggestions,

Motivate the producers to follow such suggestions,

Guide both producers and customers to maintain the proper level of understanding and willingness to cooperate between themselves.

Offer in house or external services of sufficient added value to support the sales both at Producers’ and customers’ ends.

At all time remain a committed ambassador for fairness and equitable attitudes.
